Orly Barkay
(Israel)
"After the Red Sea," Acrylic on Corrugated Cardboard, 64 x 93 cm
Orly Barkay is a multidisciplinary artist working in painting and sculpture, creating expressive works that move between abstraction and figuration. Her artistic language is intuitive, emotional, and deeply connected to movement, texture, and color.
Inspired by nature, the sea, and travels around the world, her work explores themes of memory, identity, human emotion, and the relationship between inner and outer landscapes.
Through layered compositions and organic forms, she creates visual dialogues between freedom and structure, fragility and strength, stillness and motion. Her works invite the viewer into an emotional and sensory experience, one that encourages reflection, connection, and imagination.
