I mainly work with pen and ink illustration to depict the entangled emotions within us. I think colors become redundant when it comes to showing the chaotic nature inside every individual, as no single or multiple colors can truly convey anxiety, perplexity, fear, etc. Although most pieces are sparked by my sensitivity growing up, I am confident that the pieces can resonate with that little messy part of you as long as we are still living in this mucky world together.
But illustrating chaos is not the sole purpose of my work. I aim to explore the contradiction of the human mind, the unyielding will of many. Through my drawings, you can see a timid child who has a hidden, wondering urge or an anxious heart that still fosters hope to survive another dawn; those are the battle symphony of our ups and downs in life. Sometimes, embracing flaws can also be a rewarding journey.
