We invite artists to submit work for THE ARTIST VS. A.I., an exhibition exploring the current state of our world and creative outlets.
A.I. has exploded onto the scene as global superpower, providing tools and abilities the world could only imagine only decades earlier. In many ways, it has been a useful asset to our society. However, artists all over the world have been challenged by property theft, the hardships of competing with a non-human element, and the protection of creative freedom in the art world. A.I. has become a cheap and easy way to create "art" that had never been touched by human hands.
We are looking for artistic submissions that capture, through visual means, the struggle of the modern artist to rise to the challenge of navigating a world that is increasingly dominated by A.I. Whether it's a portrait of yourself, an abstract expression, or a hybrid using modern technology--
we want to see what the contemporary art world has to say.
Submissions using artificially generated material will be considered--however, the artist should build upon the A.I. image and make it their own using other artistic mediums. Artworks that are 100% A.I. generated will not be considered.
All mediums are welcome.
There is no fee to apply.
